About Us

Forrest W. Hunt Elementary School is located on the outskirts of Forest City in Rutherford County, North Carolina. We have hardworking students, dedicated faculty, and supportive parents. Forrest W. Hunt Elementary currently serves an average of 370 students in kindergarten through fifth grade, and 36 NC-Pre K students. As a school-wide Title I school, Forrest Hunt receives federal funding for additional student support resources. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, but they become members of the Forrest Hunt Elementary STAR family once they enter our building.
